So anybody heard of Glassphemy?

I heard about it today, its a very inventive but simple way of expressing anger while recycling. Who said recycling was fun?

A large container made of out bullet proof glass takes a battering as people stand on a balcony above aggressively smashing glass bottles into it, therefore taking out aggression at the same time as recycling glass.

This new recycling method was created by the Macro Sea Studio.

‘Measuring 20 feet high and 30 feet long, people armed with glass bottles collected from local bars stand on the one side of the structure, ready to hurl them at the awaiting group, who stand behind bullet proof glass on the other end.

So basically under the influence you get to throw/bottle people but it doesn’t actually get to them cos their protected by a bullet proof sheet. Sounds fun, I wanna do it!

I haven’t seen silent film The Artist but it won the most awards tonight although I would prefer The Help to have won in every category, but at least Octavia Spencer won best Supporting Actress for her role. Other then that Tinker Tailor Solider Spy did second best with two awards.

Shocks for me were the British actor Adam Deacon winning the Rising Star Award over Chris Hemsworth. Best Director going the Michel Havanavicius, Best Leading Actor going to Jean Dejurin over Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Michael Fassbender. Lastly The Artist winning Best Film over The Help which I think is kinda flawed since its a silent film, not even any dialogue.

American singer/actress and icon Whitney Houston has tragically died at the age of 48! The cause and location of her death has not been confirmed yet. Although TMZ are reporting she died at the Beverley Hilton Hotel.

Whitney Houston was a worldwide superstar with hits like ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’, ‘I Have Nothing’ and ‘I Will Always Love You’ from the 1992 film The Bodyguard starring herself and Kevin Costner.

Houston’s background was in soul and gospel music. Growing up with a gospel singing mother, Cissy Houston, cousin Dionne Warwick and being a god daughter to Aretha Franklin.

Whitney grew up in New Jersey and began singing in church before NYC night clubs of then modelling before being signed by Arista Records. The peak of her career was in the 1980s and 1990s when she won multiple awards and repeatedly top the singles and album charts.

Although in recent years we’ve seen her drug abuse take its toll on her body and voice said to have begun when her marriage to Bobby Brown got out of control. Now reports say she was even going bankrupt ‘borrowing money off friends’ after once being worth $100,000,000

Beyonce and Jay decide to introduce their baby daughter, Blue Ivy Carter by setting up a tumblr account, showing pictures and messages.

They posted on ‘http://helloblueivycarter.tumblr.com/’ revealing pictures and a messages saying “We welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives, The Carter Family.”

The site displayed five pictures, one of Beyonce and Blue, one of Jay and Blue, two of Blue on her own and one of Bey and Blue’s hands touching. In other baby Blue Ivy Carter news, proud parents Jay and Bey are trying to Trademark the name ‘Blue Ivy Carter’.

Happy 20th birthday to Twilight star Taylor Lautner, wonder where in the world he’s celebrating his birthday?
